1Who we are (Data Controller)
SD Innovations Private Limited, Workafella, High Street, New No. 431, 433, 435, 437 & 439 (Old No. 32, 91, 298, 299/300, 301, 302), Anna Salai, Mount Road, Teynampet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600018, India, is the controller of your personal data. Privacy contact: [email protected].
2What we collect
- Account and contact data: name, business name, email, phone, country, and whether your account is on a Business or Studio plan.
- Free trial details: when you start a free trial, we ask for your email address and, optionally, your phone number before you create an account. We keep them with the button and plan you chose, the page you arrived on, and any campaign tags (UTM parameters) and ad click identifiers in its address, even if you do not finish signing up.
- Billing data: subscriptions are managed by Chargebee and payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive limited transaction data and do not store full card numbers.
- Brief and project data: briefs, brand profiles, brand assets, and any materials you upload. This includes materials that belong to your customers if you are on a Studio plan, and any footage, images, or audio you supply for Short-Form Video Packs.
- Usage and technical data: IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, and data from cookies and similar technologies.
- Advertising data:if you reach our site from one of our ads, we and our advertising partners collect the ad click identifier (such as Google’s or Meta’s click ID), the ad you clicked, and actions you take afterwards, such as signing up or starting a trial.
- Communications: messages you send us and support correspondence.
Information about other people. If your briefs, brand profiles, or uploads include information about other people, such as your customers or their staff and contacts, you are responsible for having the right to share it with us. We use that information only to provide the Service to you, and we never use it for advertising.

4Cookies and advertising
Categories
We use four categories of cookies and similar technologies.
- Strictly necessary: these run the Service, including sign-in, security, remembering your Cookie settings, and remembering that you closed our cookie notice. They cannot be switched off.
- Analytics: Microsoft Clarity, for usage and session data that shows how visitors use our site. Clarity masks text you type into forms. If you switch analytics cookies off, Clarity records your visit without setting its own cookies on your device, although Microsoft may set its own cookies on its domains.
- Marketing and advertising: HubSpot, for campaign attribution and enquiry follow-up; Google Ads, for measuring which ads lead to sign-ups and for showing our ads to people who have visited our site; and the Meta Pixel, for the same purposes on Facebook and Instagram.
- Functional: Tawk.to, for the live chat widget and your chat history.
How cookies are set, and how to switch them off
We take the same approach in every region. On your first visit, we show a notice that we use cookies. All four categories are on by default, and the notice does not block or delay any of them. By continuing to browse, you agree to this. We remember that you closed the notice for 12 months.
You can switch analytics, marketing and advertising, or functional cookies off at any time using Cookie settings in our footer. Your settings are saved in your browser and applied before our tags load on later visits. When you switch a category off, we also delete the cookies that category had set on our domain where we can.
We use Google Consent Mode v2, which tells Google’s tags what you allow. By default, advertising storage, analytics storage, and sharing user data with Google for advertising are set to “granted”. Ad personalisation is always set to “denied”. If you switch a category off in Cookie settings, the matching signals change to “denied”, and Google’s tags stop setting or reading those cookies on your device. While a signal is denied, they may still send limited signals without cookies, such as the page, time, browser type, and whether you arrived from an ad, which Google uses to estimate ad performance in aggregate. The Meta Pixel does not run while advertising cookies are switched off.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising cookies and targeted advertising for that browser: Google’s advertising signals stay “denied” whatever your Cookie settings say, and the Meta Pixel does not run.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working.
Google advertising
Unless you switch advertising cookies off, Google may use them to tell us when someone who clicked one of our ads signs up or starts a trial, to measure the performance of our campaigns, and to show our ads to people who have previously visited our site. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage ad personalisation through Google’s My Ad Center at myadcenter.google.com.
When you submit our free trial form or sign up, we may send Google a hashed (one-way encrypted) version of your email address, and of your phone number if you gave one, so Google can match it to an ad you clicked. We do not do this if you have switched advertising cookies off or your browser sends a GPC signal.
Meta advertising
Unless you switch advertising cookies off, we use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API. The Pixel runs in your browser. The Conversions API sends the same events to Meta from a server, which makes our measurement more reliable. Together, they send Meta information about your visit and the actions you take: pages viewed, free trial form submissions, sign-ups and trial starts, along with your IP address, browser details, and Meta’s cookie identifiers. We do not send Meta your name, email address or phone number. We use this data to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads, to build audiences for our ads, and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. When the Pixel does not load, no events about your visit are sent to Meta through the Conversions API either.
For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited are joint controllers for collecting this data and sending it to Meta. Meta is a separate controller for any processing it does afterwards. Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy. If you have a Meta account, you can manage the ads you see in Meta’s Accounts Center.
Microsoft Clarity
We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
5Sharing and recipients
Service providers. We share personal data with providers who help us run the Service, under contract, including:
- Chargebee: subscription management
- Razorpay: payments
- AWS: hosting
- Firebase (Google): account sign-in and authentication
- HubSpot: customer relationship management and marketing
- Microsoft Clarity: usage analytics
- Tawk.to: live chat
- Professional advisers, and authorities where legally required
Advertising partners. Unless you switch advertising cookies off, Google receives data through its tags on our site, and Meta receives data through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. For some advertising purposes, each acts as an independent controller of that data.
Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal data for money. However, under some US state laws, letting advertising partners collect data through cookies on our site to show ads based on your activity is treated as “sharing” or a “sale” for targeted advertising. Section 9 explains this and how to opt out.
6International transfers
Our team and providers may process data outside your country, including in India, the United States and Ireland. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or, where a recipient is certified, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions.
7Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After that, we keep it only for the period required for legal, tax, and dispute purposes, and then we delete or anonymise it. If you give us your details in our free trial form but do not create an account, we keep them as a sales enquiry for as long as we may reasonably follow up, or until you ask us to delete them. Cookies expire on the schedule set by each provider. We remember that you closed our cookie notice for 12 months, and your Cookie settings until you change them or clear your browser’s storage.
8Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it. You can switch optional cookies off at any time through Cookie settings. To exercise any other right, contact [email protected]. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
9Notice for US residents
This section applies to residents of California and of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws.
